Actually this type of stuff is not new. The Chu Moy headphone amp was originally in a mint box...
Neat idea tho.

I havnt used the AT Omni's before, because i like the card's better. May get hyper's in the future. As far as the Velvet Revolver shows, i only went to the 2nd one, hence i was only able to tape the 2nd one =)
Dont get too excited though. It doesnt sound all that great. Hopefully i'll have it up by Monday on STG..
Thanks!

From stuff that I've heard, this is true, P48 for best freq. response.
Also the hypers get weak in the lowend, compared to the cards.
Would you agree, Schwill ?

I dunno on the whole mint box thing because I still think guards tend to search those(make you open them up) to make sure you aren't trying to sneak any illegal drug type stuff in. How about something like a fake cell phone or pager or something?

totally. When I was running the battery box, I'd have to use bass roll-off to control the loose bass. Not anymore. The bass is still a little strong, but it's balanced. The overall clarity is better, too, imo.
