If anyone in the cities below has nothing to do on the nights listed please go out and tape Auf der Maur. I'd like to get at least 1 or 2 of these shows taped (the more the better) and I'd be willing to pay for ticket / blank tape whatever. She is formerly of smashing pumpkins and hole, the best way to describe her style is a girl version of queens of the stone age i guess, but not that simalar. Very rocking. if anyone is intrested in hitting these shows please let me know and I will pay for your ticket as long as you have a decent rig. Audio taping is allowed.

I can grab the Portland for you...I've got a decent rig, but not great. I'll be glad to defer to anyone else who comes along that has a better rig though and wants to do it..Jim? The free tix are always a cool offer. So put me down as a last resort :)

You are correct the show has been moved
This show has moved to Graceland.
Customers must purchase new tickets to the Graceland show.
Graceland show tickets are not sold through Ticketmaster.

I've always seen people hassled when bringing in stuff to tape at the graceland.
Be sure to have something saying taping is allowed in case the Security Nazi's don't know it's ok

Really? Had no problem taping Matt Nathanson and Howie Day. This band have an official taping policy?

please do although i already found someone to do the portland show AKG 461 -> V3 -> DA-P1 would be sweet. If you cant thats cool. I'm surprised I have gotten 3 or 4 for sures although no one with outstanding rigs (no offence people i am very greatfull).
also i don't believe they have anything in writing but they are deffinatly 100% fine with mic recordings, stands have been used no problems. Video also seems to be okay. Just talk to melissa (the beautiful redhead) before the show if you are worried about event staff.

only 60mins or so, they only have the one album and a couple cover songs.
As far as lacking funds even though i have already have a taper for that show i'd be totally willing to fund your ticket tape and whatever else in reason you need.
I am going to have to stop offering this after this tour since its going to ruin me 8)

well sorry guys i forgot that some people consider their rigs to be their babies. I haven't really had much reason to care about my rig much since I haven't been taping too much lately its more or less just there these days not something I treasure. thinking about this i do realize that even though a comment like that about my rig wouldnt offend me I can see why it would others.

Let me know if you aren't able to get in for free on Thrasherpresents guestlist and I will definately give you my ticket(andrewkw paid for). I really have no problem deferring to someone with a better rig(don't worry, no offense taken). No biggie at all, in fact I may go up to Seattle for a differennt show if I by chance I don't do this one.

Yeah, I didn't even realize there were so many of us....still have yet to really run into any though! Must be taping different genre's of music...I am more into the singer/songerwriter and poppy shit I guess ;p
All the tapers I've met so far are from Seattle/WA area it seems like(Kevin/Ryan/Mel/Jason)....oh and Greg from Eugene too.
I think we should do a team Oregon thread.... Or how about team Orygun since only we who live here know how to pronounce it correctly ;)

Was gonna be there but S&S bailed (fuckers). I wanted to get Spencer all wasted on Jaegermeister before the show ala Murder City Devils days!!!

i'm not quite sure. i know that We Ragazzi opened and Minus The Bear headlined. i had never heard of either band, but MIB was actually pretty sweet. too bad i didnt realise my deck had turned off after 6 seconds of recording until almost halfway through thier set, lol.

lol i was going to go to the minus the bear show too but exams came up and then jim bailed... oh well. they'll be back. apparently the other half of botch, these arms are snakes, are playing in a couple weeks...

Botch... I dunno about those guys. I saw them once and ended up talking all over the tape with some buddies (in 800 Octane).
