Title: Sonos Ace headphones
Post by: ts on July 20, 2024, 08:33:03 AM
Been seeing a lot of peeps driving around with headphones on. Must be these set on "Aware" mode.

I mourn the end of production of these:

You could block out the world by cranking them, allow it in by moderating the volume. (at least sirens and alarms)

Driving with headphones and earbuds is usually illegal, regardless of type.
When I got my first 1960's driving lesson, on being handed the keys, the instructor said, "a car is more deadly than a bullet, always remember that".

If hit by a driver wearing headphones, I'd bet many people would get it in the police report and sue.
