Weather clear slight breeze. All mics in DIN with Rode WS8 windscreens.
Sources both equally normalized and very light compressor used.
What my ears are hearing: Both are very very close in sound quality. However, the Gefell's, in my ears are slightly clearer and cleaner in the upper ranges and warmer rounded in the lowers especially below 100hz. The Gefells seem to have a more "sophisticated well rounded" sound than the AKG CK61s. Again ...this is my opinion here and I am interested in what your ears hear.

Many thanks for sharing these recordings and the photo. They sound real close as you say and both sound very nice. Running both AKGs and MGs myself, I agree with your "well rounded" assessment.

Nice pull bump. The mics sound great. I hope you grab the dusters when they come through. I'm trying so hard to find a belly up ticket on my end of the state line.
