Title: Tascam DA-30 questions

I purchased a Tascam DA-30 for a mastering project and this deck is totally new to me.  ???
Some n00b questions:

• What are some ways to test it? (I'm mostly concerned with playback)
• Any common failure points that I should be weary of?
• Any maintenance I should do? e.g., lubricating gears, etc.
• Should I send it to a pro to be serviced? (Any service folks you recommend?)

I'm not afraid to open it up and get my hands dirty, so any tips, experience, and/or links to YouTube videos are appreciated!

P.S. Can someone DM me the Tascam DA-30 Owner Manual (PDF)? (Not the service manual, not the DA-30MKII manual).
