I currently own a pair of AKG C460B and CK-61 cardioid capsules, and want to get a pair of hypers for it and wondering what setup is the best. The CK-63 capsules are very rare and hard to find for sale, but I came across a CK3 which you can apparently use with the C460b body? Anyone have any info on this or what the best route to go down with this setup?
Thanks!
Sam

You have to have the A60 adaptor to use the CK1, CK2, CK3, CK8, etc with the C460 body. If your diligent, you can find CK63's. If you were going the CK3 route, I probably wouldn't jump until you had a line on some A60's. Hard to find as well. FollowinBob here on TS is a machinist and does make a run of an A60 clones on occasion.

Wait for the 63’s to pop up. It happens.
There was a pair on ebay a couple weeks ago, but pairs are rare on there
If your vigilant on keeping up on the yard sale here and the fb groups youl find some
It took me a few months last year to find some myself
