Nbob actives/PFA vs MV400x bodies
Source ? Microtech Gefell M21 (dina) > Nbob actives > Naiant PFA > Sound Devices MixPre-6 II @ 32/48
Source ? Microtech Gefell MV400x/M21 (dina) > Sound Devices MixPre-6 II @ 32/48
Both sets of mics on same stand using a vark bar inches apart (not blocking each other) approx 11.25' & 11.5' high roc in OTS
The gain was raised just below 0 and matched on both sources as best I could. MBIT+ dither from 32bit to 24bit. Gain and dither done with iZotope RX 11. No other editing was done.
Foobar users install ABX Comparator
https://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_abx
Once installed load the 2 files you want to A/B, right click > utilities > ABX tracks. Hit OK, you can then toggle between both files.

Both sound great! I'm not hearing a big difference. Need to break out the cans.

Both sound very good. I prefer A. It is a little fuller.

Finally listened to this. Both sound good, very similiar, but it seems all the B samples have a bit more high end and presence. A little more hyped. A subtle difference but my ears notice it. I think I prefer A.

Both sound great. As mentioned, I hear a higher end presence in B, which I like. Tomorrow I am going to listen a bit closer.
