Title: Convert to it! Convert any two files without uploading to an external server.
Post by: audBall on March 05, 2026, 07:35:39 AM
I came across this conversion tool recently. Looks interesting and may be helpful to people here. The possibilities for converting file types are nearly endless.

Convert to it!

Truly universal online file converter.
Many online file conversion tools are boring and insecure. They only allow conversion between two formats in the same medium (images to images, videos to videos, etc.), and they require that you upload your files to some server.
This is not just terrible for privacy, it's also incredibly lame. What if you really need to convert an AVI video to a PDF document? Try to find an online tool for that, I dare you.
Convert.to.it aims to be a tool that "just works". You're almost guaranteed to get an output - perhaps not always the one you expected, but it'll try its best to not leave you hanging.

Is it free?

Yes, the conversion is completed in your browser rather than uploading the files to another server. Many of us already have audio conversion options available, whether through DAWs or Traders Little Helper, and this is not meant to replace those for our uses. This just expands on a bunch of other files types out there. It will literally convert any file to any file that they list. More tech savvy users can install the files from the github link. I recommend watching the youtube link as it goes into much greater detail.

No affiliation btw.
