what are folks using to store their 402x mics in? i'm thinking a pelican box would probably be the best, is there anything smaller?

small tupperware container, lined with foam, store the mics with the small DUA0020 windscreens on.

Still using the original cases - those things are pretty sturdy and I've had a few experiences that might have crushed a tupperware container. Pelican would not be a bad idea though.
-
i also use the original cases

zip loc with caps inside the screens. use small fence ties to clip the cables together.

I don't have DPA's, but I use toothbrush holders...that's about as small as you'll get. Drop some foam in one end for protection and voila. :)
-
greenone - that works really well with standard mics!
I guess it could be modified for the dpa's too...

thanks for all the ideas, i went down in the kitchen and found a tupperware sandwich container which works perfectly. here are some pics i took.

Very nice...
I'm probably gonna rig up a similar contraption for the lc3 and ak40s. Store it right next to the Pelican case w/the KM100 bodies.

i use bulk roll film canisters.
-
mike, ill take a pic tonight and show you. i can usually get them for free pretty easily.

i cant resize my photo down for some reason. basically it is a round tin about 4-5" of diameter across and about 2" deep. when you buy bulk rolls of film, basically it is this huge roll of just the negative strip and you roll it into canisters yourself.
