Title: if get jb3, wot else do i need with budget of another £150 ??

If i order a jb3 wot else do i need to make decent stealthy-ish recordings for top whack of £150 or $250 ???

If your budget includes the Nomad 3, good look! 

If your budget is in addition to the Nomad 3, buy the Core Sounds Cardioid Stealth Mics.  Do a Google search.

you can start out with a SOny Handheld stereo condensor, like the ECM-MS907

thanks, where do most tapers put the mic's ? not on a stand tho of course, i wanna be as stealthy as possible, and wot kind of clips u need ?

we all have different creative ways, some poke holes in the sides of hats.  Some wear headbands.  Others run a mount inide a hat.  I run mine with the mics lodged in the sweatband.  There are clips, elastic bands, croakies, and tons of other ways people are able to setup these mics in a configuration

Has anyone ever compared the SP CMC2s with the more expensive CMC4s?

I clip my CMC2s onto my collar, works fine.

I'd recommend the battery box with bass roll off, and the clip.

not a direct comparison, but all of my CMC-4 recordings are better than the 2s, although, the CMC-4s have been phantom powered :)
