Title: pcmcia firewire card recomendation?

I just bought the cheapest one I could find on ebay and it works fine.

Just got a LaCie. It's working well; but I didn't see the AC power requirement when I bought it. Still, it's not problem for when & where I'm using it.

I got a belkin off ebay for around $22 shipped. It came from Canada and took about 20 days to get here - seems to work fine though. If I had to do it over again, I'd just buy the cheapest one off newegg.

i bought the cheapest firewire card off of ebay for my desktop.  didn't seem to have problems, so i think i'll do the same for my laptop.
