Title: Sample rate switch on D8
Post by: greenone on July 16, 2004, 09:13:23 AM
Does this switch matter when you're running a digi in to the D8? I accidentally bumped it at some point while running last night and didn't notice until the show was almost over. Got home, popped the tape in my DA-20 to convert and went to bed, woke up and checked the recording and the transfer is all fucked up. Swore a few times, threw it in the SV-3700 and it appears to be playing back just fine, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. But I thought a digi signal is a digi signal (it's from a 48kHz ADC-20) and couldn't be re-sampled by the deck, right?

youre good if its an adc, those crystals are internal and cannot be changed, so the recording will be 48k if sending a digital signal :)

Ok, good...2 for 2. Must just be my DA-20 being a bitch. I'll go home and smack it around some. Thanks!

Cool, uh, beans...bean. :D My luck with batteries continues - one of my BP-50s won't fully charge now. Light on the charger just stays orange forever. This is not good. >:(
