Title: Tape Wharehouse
Post by: Depechemode1993 on July 16, 2004, 02:30:53 PM
well I know some tapers actually buy tapes from there. and since I just got a D8 I am looking to buy DAT tapes. I got a show coming up soon and want to buy some 90 min DAT tapes. I looked at Guitar Center and they were like $10 a piece!!!! WTF. so I was hoping someone could tell me what a good reliable DAT tape was? plus if anyone tapes stealth what the level they usually record for rock concerts? just to give me a idea of what I should manually record at.

at Tape Warehouse in Norcross, the best value is quantegy 124 minute (60 meter) tapes. they don't carry DDS tapes and they don't have any 90m tapes either.

They don't have them listed on their website's catalog, but I buy 90 DDS tapes at the store all the time.  I bet if you call or email 'em you can get those shipped . . .

Can't find the green ones anymore, I'm not sure if they changed the packaging.
