Title: SHOULD I USE A BATTERY BOX W/ ANALOG DECK?

Hi,
I just picked up an analog deck and was wondering if i should use a battery box with it, the deck is an Awia JX-749 with and Awia ext. Stereo Mic got it pretty cheap for $6.00, was thinking about trying it out at Ozzfest, just wondering what someone with more experiences with analog decks would do.

nothing wrong with analog
