Title: How to remove digi-noise?
Post by: hexyjones on July 20, 2004, 08:59:33 AM
I have a few clicks that I want to remove from a recording...thus far I have had pretty decent results just by selecting the offending click and muting it about -20db...basically replacing it with silence, which is less offensive than the click, to your ears...

Is there a better way?

well, since diginoise is really a small fraction of a second, i keep highlighting the small sample until it cannot be blown up anymore, then i go in w/ a declicker and remove the visible click, only on the one channel that the noise is in tho, youd NEVER be able to tell :)
