money not a factor? here are a few stealth setups that my ears like ;D

schoeps mk41s>Sonosax(lemo sax)>recorder
dpa 4022s>mp2>recorder
dpa 406x> * >recorder (*=whatever option you choose, too many to type)
sound professional mics > sp batt box > recorder (way more affordable than the first 2)

no bass problems with these rigs 8)

weird question but

the best mini mics i know , suited for heavy music are the nevaton MCE 400,
they run on 48 volt.

full rig,i'd go with km84's,sms2000,m910,nevaton mc49,josephson c606b,schoeps mk21.

I have a Realistic Stereo Mic that has a pretty low output for an electret mic...can't imagine it would overload...

You can find them regularly on eBay for around 10-20 bucks...a bit bulky - but you might be able to mod it for stealth...

The model is - 33-919 and it resembles an AT822 Stereo Mic (big head)
