Title: dmic 20 sends a "copy prohibit"
Post by: paulrennix on July 21, 2004, 10:56:47 PM
A buddy lent me a graham patton dmic 20 for rockygrass so I could get some of the workshop/contest stage stuff.  I was psyched that it arrived in time today, but when I set it up it sends a copy prohibit signal to both an m1 and a sony 75es.

Ideas?

Dont know which output you are using, but try using the other bnc or AES, that could be your culprit. I have never got a copy prohibit from the d-mic with a d8 or a buddy's m1.

I think there may be some dipswitches in the dmic20 to switch the signal from professional to consumer- call graham patten constumer service- they'll help you troubleshoot it- they're great to deal with

well, Graham Patton says this is happening with new M1s. I guess there is a mod available.
