Title: JB3 optical in ?
Post by: bluelawn on July 28, 2004, 01:30:55 PM
i'm confused-
the JB3's optical in is discribed as a mini-optical port.
does this mean a adapter is needed between the optical cable & the JB3?

if so where can i find one?

thanks,
seth

The jack is a "combo" - it serves as both an analog line-in...and a optical digital-in.

You can use a standard ToSLink optical cable..but you will need the 1/8 mini adapter that makes the ToSLink fit the jack...

...or a cable constructed as such...

Radio Shack sells TosLink Cables and the proper adapter...
