Any love out there for Audio-Technica AT897 shotguns ?

I did a little research on them using Google.  The Video-head forums seem to like them to the Sennheiser ME66s.  They are waaaay cheaper then the Senns.  $240 a piece on eBay, where the Senns are running around $390.  Both can be battery or phantom powered.  I've never personally used them.  But they do look intriguing and worth a rental for shits and giggles.  Below is some specs and some web articles.  Hope this gives you guys an idea.

Yup. the specs are sweet. But they're paper.

Hmm, rentals, good idea. Maybe Cascade or B&H....
