Yes, TB means TerraByte! Screw HD storage devices and their wimpy GB capacities! Can't wait to see what happens with this:

It is nice to see they are advancing technoilogies like this. I figure in a year or so I will be able to jump to some form of solidstate media w/ 10-20gb of storage that will be at a very affordable price point. w/ 4GB CF cards going for ~$600, 8gb CF almost on store shelves. i bet in a year or so ~16GB CF will be about $400, hopefully less. CF has limitations and draw back but it is so widely used and supported it will be a good solution till the next thing somes along.

2 TB = 2,000 GB = ~ 1,000 hours at 24/96! All on 1 removeable card.
I don't know how many hours you all tape a year but this would last me a long, long time!
This is the next thing to come along, or at least I hope so. Probably won't be out for a while, but it's great news nonetheless.

Your words to the Memory Master's Allmighty Ears !
I'd be happy to see affordable 10GB PCMCIA hard drives right now.....
