Title: Getting rid of NOMAD Detector
Post by: blu666z on August 10, 2004, 08:51:02 PM
How can I get rid of this?  Don't see it in Add/Remove Programs or my Startup folder yet it starts everytime.  Right clicking and unchecking Enable Detector will make it close but comes back as soon as I reboot.  I HATE CREATIVE!!!

what version of windows are you running, if you are running 98, xp, win me you can go to start run and type in msconfig then click on the startup tab and see if you find it in there.  if it's not there i can point you to the spot in the registry

Sweet 99% there.  Got rid of the Detector running but I still get the Creative Splash Screen.  Only left left checked in Startup is my ZoneAlarm Firewall and the control panel tray item for my soundcard.

+T for the help thus far.
