Title: matrix recording on the spot?
Post by: smat on August 14, 2004, 11:49:37 PM
I'm wondering if there is a way to run 2 sets of mics into the same unit at a show??  I'm considering upgrading from my core sound cardioids to a low end akg or something.  I like the clarity that my core sounds have, but they lack bass and prescense.  Is there a deck or a box of some sort I can use that will allow me to run 2 mics into one unit and get a matrix recording?

if you wanted to run say some 391s into the ua5 and use the ua5 phantom for them

you could run the coree sounds into the ua5's rca inputs and have a 4 mic mix on the spot

i have a m-audio firewire 410, but it wont mix 2 analog sources at once like the ua5

4 channel mixer, like a Samson Mixpad.
