Title: Digi-Pops
Post by: tfrench on August 16, 2004, 11:00:37 AM
I'm looking for some software to help me out with a recording that I have a couple noticable digi-pops.  I've cleaned it up as much as possible using cdwav and shntool, but now just need to minimize the two or three digi-pops.  Is there any freeware or trial software that would be recommended?  Thanks in advance for the assistance.  Todd

Freeware Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net) may do the trick.

Or use the Vinyl Restoration tools in the trial version of SoundForge 7.0 - they work pretty nice on diginoise...

I couldn't get it to work in Audacity...without resorting manually selecting and muting each click...
