Title: Omni Angles
Post by: blu666z on August 26, 2004, 03:59:03 PM
Taped Guster and OAR last night at an outdoor show.  Ran split omnis both sets.  For OAR I angled the omni out towards the stacks just a bit.  Considerably more boomy.  Trying to figure out if that config would pick up more bass or just a coincidence and OAR was just boomier.

boomy = bass heavy

omni's = directional only at high frequencies

my guess would be that it was due to the way OAR sounded.
