Post by: admkrk on August 28, 2004, 10:07:41 AM

running analog input: mx-100>unbal rca.

input set to analog
                 unbalanced

when i hit the record button it lights up and i get level readings. the tape just won't move. it'll rewind/fast forward and there's no problems w/ playback.

if i push pause then play it plays fine. it's just when i try record, nothing, the tape won't move no matter what button i push.

looks like i need to start chargeing up some batteries

yep, tryed all those.   tryed them again just to make sure.  still nothing

when i hit the record button the pause doesn't light, or if i hit it after.

don't have the manual so i have nothing to go by, it took some getting used to  the d8, so i was thinking maybe i missed something on this deck as well.

 "...and GOOD LUCK!"

i'll need more than that the way it looks, but it can't hurt.
