Sucessfullly pulled off my first 24/96 recording with the FR-2 last weekend. Used a pcmcia -> usb reader to copy the file onto my ibook. Now I need a way to track it.
Anyone got a working solution? Or do I need to somehow break the file up using a utility, then track smaller chunks?
Thanks

Spark XL handles them just nicely. I believe Digital Performer will as well.

digital performer does NOT like files greater than 2GB

I stand corrected. ;)

i believe matt denardo learned that the hard way

He's right, I only learned that from DP3 in a concert situation. I was smart enough to test DP4 at home and got the same result. DP3 and DP4 both have the 2-GB limit because they don't use w64 or SDII extended as the file type.
Spark is a far better program for transferring/editing than DP, anyway.

Once again, Spark XL is the answer, thanks so much for the help.
Just found that B & H has one last copy in stock. Mine!!!
Can't wait to remove Peak from my life...
Anyone know what type of exorcism will be most effective?
Many thanks, Chris

I wouldn't buy a copy. It's unsupported by TCWorks, kinda pointless.
PM me and I can get something sent to ya. ;)
