Title: ISO: Larger Speaker Stands

Anyone have a lead on reasonably priced, sturdy ~40" speaker stands that will hold ~30lbs

 I was toying with the "BCostigan MOD"-style homebrewed ones (http://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/stubby_e.html)
They use PVC pipe with threaded rod through the center.

If you need a lot of support, use 3 pipes in a triangle for each stand and load each pipe with sand.  They should be plenty sturdy.
