yes matt denardo it seems to be playing 24/96 flacs with no issues

the 24/96 is done via quicktime, so i don't think it's true 24/96. 

gapless?  no idea.  didn't try yet

It's damn ugly to boot. ;)

Any way this is open source?  I can't find anything except for what's on that page...

Not gapless, just tried it out. Seems to actually eat a split-second at the end of one track while getting ready for the next one, actually. Looks like xmms-shn is still the only gapless playback for shn/flac...
