I think this is a typo:
Speaking of microphone input...Edirol told me, and I quote, "the FA-101s front end is racially redesigned". However...I don't really find this to be true. Maybe a little different, but far from radical.
the pres are racially redesigned? :P
other than that, nice review.

Kill WHITEY!!
fuckin' spell checkers! at leats you cant fault the spelling of the typo.

Nice review, Nick! I learned quite a bit about it. Now I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whitees I see!... :D One of my favorite skits from Garrett Morris on SNL (telling the parole board what he's gonna do when he gets out of prison).

nick;
i did see one mistake in your review that i wanted to bring up:
in the Powering the FA-101 in the field section you wrote:
"It wants .950mAh...meaning that you need to roughly plan on 1amp per hour of run time (phantom included)."
the above statement is incorrect as far as terminology. the FA-101 "draws" 950mA, not .950mAh. similarly, the "1amp per hour of runtime" is incorrect. otherwise, your review is quite objective and all encompassing.

thanks....I'll look into more proofing today when i've got some time.
though, I thought anything under an amp was listed as a decimal ? .950 miliamps being almost 1amp ?? Dealing with electrical terminology is not my strong point.
also, how is this incorrect : "1amp per hour of runtime" ? I'm trying to say that you'll need to plan the amperage of your battery roughly around 1amp per hour of run time on the Edirol. Is there a more accurate way to say this?
there are a bunch of gramatic errors. as I re-read it last night it read like an 8th grader wrote it. I like "active proofs" , so I post it early.

correct, but i think you meant 950mA not .950mA.

i see what you meant. i think the best way to convey that by saying "....requires a power source that will have a capacity of 1 amp-hour per hour of operation..." or similar.
an ampere by definition is a rate (coulombs/time). therefore, ampere per time is always an incorrect description of current use. the FA-101 will continously draw .95 amp whether it operates for 1 second or 100 hours. this is where "amp-hour" terminology is applied to describe the relationship between ampere and time.
hope this helps,

Great! Thanks for the info Marc. Much appreciated.
I updated the review today. It may read a little easier now.
