Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has tried recording a digital AES signal into the digital input of their VX pocket, and if it works or not? Sure would be nice to get extra use from that AES output on the V3 for rolling a 24 bit backup copy.
Take care,
Ben

yes it works
i ran aes (pro not consumer) out of the mme > vx pocket
-
and i was using a AES > coax cable made by our very own leegeddy

Good info to know. Thanks. I can't wait to get a V3. It'll be a while though.
Edit:
Are those AES > Coax hard to come by?
-
not too hard, im not sure if any places carry the AES > coax cable
BUT, just PM leegeddy, he will HOOK you up! he makes the best cables,a dn the price is right, and he has a local shop to get any parts you may need
but the vx pocket has no problem taking any aes signal. i used the mme which is stricktly aes pro (the v3 being pro or consumer aes) and it worked like a champ
i loved the mme > aes output because the coax output on the mme is kinda flakey, the connection is unstable inside the mme, and the aes was locking which is a huge plus!

Awesome. You have been a great help!
If I get this job I am interviewing for tomorrow I just might buy a V3 in the next few weeks!

i just got a huge promotion to justify me taking the plunge on the v3 i bought
