I have already emailed soundman.de for help, no reponse :-[
I would glady appreciate if anyone knows: where, how to get, buy, or have lying one around thier drawers, of this plastic thing
Ed :(

you mean the foam screen?
-
yes the foam screen, but the one that is only plastic and foam
-
would the foam screen from headphones work in a pinch? good luck on finding the oem part....
-
It might work, but need the original plastic covered with foam, because the cables are "too" exposed and can get unsoldered easily :(
-
if you primarily want to cover those cables go over to radio shack or whatever is by you and get some heat shrink- then very very carefully with either a hair dryer or a match (i use a match) shrink the tubing around the cables- should get them nice and sturdy
-
hot glue?
-
Hot glue, yep i twas my primary "quick fix"in the meanwhile, I get the part.
altough shrink tube ia a good idea too ;)
