I am useing Steinberg Cubase se I am thing off tapeing a show in 24bit / 96khz. I went to if any one can tell me how to make it 16bit / 44.1khz so I can put it on a cd.

i don't know how to do it in cubase, but i do know that you should do the 96khz > 44.1khz first and then the 24bit > 16bit. what is that, resample then dither? i think thats the proper terminolgy, but i might have the terms flip flopped...i have it written down somewhere.

yep, resample first then dither. Check the help in your program, search for "resample", and "dither", or "bit depth conversion".
Take care,
Ben
