Title: I will sell my soul for CP4's.
Post by: Patrick on September 30, 2004, 05:30:46 PM: I want CP4 caps (shotguns) for my Nak CM300 mics so badly.

The bad thing is, I have not alot of money. A poor college student's budget for shotguns that have been discontinued since 1988 (?).

Life is so hard, isn't it?

I saw that auction. Totally out of the norm. I think actually the final price was $175 which was still a steal!! I JUST unloaded my caps last week to Officedog. I will miss them dearly...BUT if you ever get into the big bucks try out for size the Neumann guns....they make the Naks sound like a Realistic vocal mic!!! Best sounding guns out there from what I was told....simply amazing! BUT the fuggin things are over $900 clams each or somewhere in that range!

why the affinity for Guns? I like hypers much, much more...

tim, ive never been a big 'guns' head myself, but after hearing jesse d's vegas copies, WOW, they sound GREAT ;D

i agree tho, hypers are the shizzle :)

sometimes, i believe he def did in vegas, my buddy patched outta him all 3 nites including moe :)

2 guns and an omni in the middle :)

At least you can afford a UA-5 man. I am a poor grad student (although I did jsut graduate, and have anice tenure track asst. prof. job in the fall), bbut even still, I will not beable to buy anything for a long time, as we bought a house and i need to pay off some serious bills... good luck though man.. there are a ton of nice people on here that might be able to help you out!

The only thing I need to round out my collection is some u87s, and some m27 caps for the mgs.
