Anybody know if it's possible to take AAC files from your iPod and transfer them back to your PC?

If so, any help would be much appreciated...

Yes, there are a few ways. The notmad guys make some software called Anapod. There are free ways too, some are suggested on the ipodlounge forums. Assuming windoz os http://www.ipodlounge.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=904cb197530bc9c720ba2dfdfd36a3b3&forumid=15  hth.

just browse the ipod and make sure invisible files/folders are shown
