I've already posted this in the open forum but i figured it might get more attention here:
I've been trying forever to seed my first show and I've got it up on bt.etree.org
I created a torrent using the appropriate tracker URL for etree, which I got from (http://www.taperssection.com/yabbse/index.php?board=14;action=display;threadid=18284 ), and I've uploaded the torrent onto etree
As for seeding, I try to do the following:
[3] Seeding
[1] Fire up the .torrent on your local PC (I use ABC) - the BT client should run through a quick check of your files and then start seeding.
but when I "fire up the .torrent" in ABC, nothing happens - I just get the "connecting to peers" message under BT status. I checked on etree and it confirms that I am in fact not seeding at all. What the hell am I doing wrong? I am certain my tracker URL is correct, and I've tried creating a torrent with azureus, maketorrent, completedir, and abc and none of them will seed. I am not using a firewall or anything. WTF?? Can anyone help?
heres the link to d/l it on etree: http://bt.etree.org/download.php/8125/PGroove2004-10-02.torrent

looks like you may not have your files in the right spot. be sure your folder is in the same sport all you norman BT's end up. it should take a minute or two and scan up to 100%.

try using this client http://bittornado.com/
after you install it. Open up the program point it to your .torrent file and then it will ask you where you want to save the file. Point it to the folder where you have you show saved. it should then run through the check and you should be seeding your show.

I'm also having a similar problem with a show I just Bit torrented. I tried the fixes listed above and nothing seems to be working? Any help would be appreciated.
