Running a live multi-track for a buddy, and it turns out it will be easier to simply clamp on a second mic right next to his main vocal mic (his mixer does NOT have an extra line out for each individual track). He's got extra dynamic mics, but I'm 99% sure that they are very cheap nady sp1's:

I've actually heard him use these nady dynamics, and while they actually weren't too bad, I should have an extra superlux smk-h8k cardiod condensor available. Music style is a softer rock, no screaming or anything like that.
ps, I have the stock superlux windscreens as well as a $40 studio vocal pop filter (might look weird though).

well, i use a shure beta 87a for vocals and i think it does a very nice job (similar music style). have you tried your superlux? what is the point of running two vocal mics? do you want to compare the sound and choose one specifically or are you looking to mix them together?
