My buddy in town just bought a pair of these...any good??? We will more than likely run into a V3, anyone run this same rig...

Heh. I just bought a pair of AKG C 414 B-ULS, but the transaction isn't complete yet and I'm out of town for a while. Will run them into a V3 when I get back, though. Check the Team AKG thread in the Team Forum, there are a few other people running 414s as well, including into a V3.

414's are fat espically up front...personally I think the 170's have them beat....just a different sound...more efficient. Both real good...wish I had some 414's. was saving up but ran into a good deal on 184's... I like the uls series...nice purchase...I think they are more suited for PA recording than the TL's...
