Pretty sure that thread is about 853 caps not 933/943 caps. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I have some 943s that I would like to add some hyper caps to. Already have the Cards and Omnis.

or get this

and use 853 elements

I knew SP had them but I don't wanna pay that much. I picked up my pair of 943 omni caps for $60 off someone here. Forgot about the adapter...that's an idea if the 853 hypers are fairly cheap.

the only problem is....
I don't know if ES943/33 caps are interchangable with AT933 caps. same goes for the adapter. Can it be used with the older version? I'd talk to SP before buying

From previous threads, I'm fairly sure the 933 and 943 are indentical.

well, there are the AT933, the ES943 and the ES933. I'm fairly certain the later 2 are identical, but I am knowledgeless about their compatability with the AT933
-
i believe i read before that the 943's were not interchangeble cause the caps were stuck and 933 your could scew of the caps. mine you can screw of.

Hmmm, I don't know then...didn't realize there might be a difference in the AT vs ES. Mine are 'offically' AT ES943_C(or O or H depending on the cap).

My caps do screw off.

well, they do sell caps for the "slimlines." I can't be certain which model SP has in stock, so I don't know what they are calling slimlines. However, if you can screw off the caps, then it looks like you can screw on the adapter and use the cheaper AT853 caps. Again, I would call AT or SP and confirm my nonsense.

this is a picture of the AT933s, which does look different than the ES943s and current SP-CMC-8s
