Just over 2 hours.  24/96 = 2 gigs/hr (approx).

There must be stuff out there than handles DSD, since I believe there's stuff out there that's pure digital (source > editing > mastering).

i'll just put it on wheels, man...

actually that little winky guy means i was kidding... but 2/3 or the shows i tape, i end up having access to a plug-in power source.

I've seen this dude who tapes some locals around my part of town that does carry around a big rack full of compressors, eqs, dat deck, etc- but I think its cause he's an engineer, and doens't wnat to buy everything twice...

I think this unit would be for those tapers who don't want to deal with computers (i.e. ones that go from DAT to standalone burner in today's world)  24bit portable>24bit standalone.

With the DSD option, I expect Doug to give this a hearty review

Just over 2 hours.  24/96 = 2 gigs/hr (approx).

of course this gets shorter the more channels you add. Which is why they have to use MLP to compress surround audio.
