I'm very happy with my sony Ecm-717. Around 90 bucks retail.

i have some dynamic audio stealth mics - they're omni's tho...but they sound very nice.  I'd sell them and the battery box for $65.  cheaper and better than a sony ecm.  i have tons of samples if you're interested.
