Title: Tascam US-122 SBD recordings...

Hey - first time here but i've heard great things about you guys...

i have a lot of friends in taping, and i've done some pro audio so i'm not clueless...

until i purchase my mics and DAT, i'm going to try and do SBDs off of my Tascam US-122 and run that into CoolEdit on my Dell Laptop

anyone have any ideas on if this would work and if it's a good idea?

i know this comes off as annoying - but i have about a 850$ purchase riding on this decision...which i'd like to hold out on so i can save up a little money, especially with travel home from college expenses and the like....

soooo - because I know you guys are extremely knowledgable about this stuff - id love some input
