What software do I need...
What order do I need to download the software.

winamp 2 or 5 (I think)  then just do a google search for shnamp plugin and flac plugin for winamp.  d/l winamp first.

definitely get winamp first, i personally think winamp2 is better, but some might disagree.

Curious if anything other than Winamp supports playing SHN & FLAC files, with AOL shuttering Nullsoft the other day....

Some folks use DBPowerAmp.  Or there is FooBar.

BOth work with SHN and FLAC.

Thanks guys. I'm very aware that winamp is still available and that WA5 will be viable for a while, I'm just thinking more towards the future

FWIW< i think winamp 5 is better, their lite version d/l's quick as hell and you can miltitask w/ it playing and not notice any clicks from being multitasked
