Not with the low cost, but I use the CSSC's for all my stealth work.

there are boatloads of samples of CSB's on Bt.etree - for instance, there's a wilco 10.10.2004 source on there that's CSB to MD, I believe.

Alas, no highspeed.  I was thinking of getting both the binaural set and the card set.  It's a little bit less than the deluxe card option from SP (SP-CMC-20).  I am hoping to get the mics by 11/20 for the Taj Mahal show.  Ahhhhhhh, I can't decide!!

I had the low cost cards...they were part of my "let's see if I'm going to enjoy this whole taping thing" rig along with a used MD and no battbox. They really have no low end, but for the cost I suppose they give you a pretty fair response. Just imagine a better sounding mic, filter out all the outstanding definition (both high and low), and you have the CSLC cards.

I don't think they are too bad, especially considering they're so cheap.

If you'd like an MP3 sample visit my webpage and download the Badly Drawn Boy track from the MP3 page. Keep in mind that i was recorded at the Fox in Boulder which sounds amazing. You're actual results may vary:

I decided on the Sound Pros SP-CMC-19:

with the SP-SPSB-7 battery module with roll-ff and level control:

Unfortunately I don't think the batt mod will arrive before the Taj show.  I have my fingers crossed!

well, in case anyone else may care...

I own a pair of low cost cards, and am satisfied with the overall sound they give
