Title: stealth mic with battery pack recommendations
Post by: karmapolice on November 24, 2004, 10:54:24 AM
Hi again,

I was wondering since the verdict is strongly against no battery pack what stealth mic with battery pack people can recommend for me.  My goal is good recording and stealth so I guess I am willing to concede some fidelity for ease of taping and not being hassled by the Man at a show.

thanks

Michael

I realise you are new here, but to be honest what you are looking for has been asked many times. This is a very good place to start:

A lot of people here are very happy with Sound Professionals range of Audio Technica miniature microphones. Which one you pick depends on:

-Budget
-Type of music / sound levels being recorded
-Pickup pattern required (eg Omni or Cardioid)

I second that.  I'm very happy with my SP-CMC-19's and SPSB-7.  I also have a cheap pair of omnis.  Sound Pros rocks!!
