Title: Capsule storage
Post by: urobouros on November 24, 2004, 05:12:16 PM
I got a set of the HMK-H8K hypers and was wondering how folks store their extra caps.  The road box that the mic set came in has room enough to cut out a space in the foam for the caps.  Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this?  I don't want to damage the caps.

I store my MKx caps in my Schoeps vials, or alternatively - when they're hooked up to my actives - in film canisters coated inside with felt.

I store my Superlux bodies + all caps inside of a Pelican case.   It is the 1040 one and they barely fit inside of it...but I wanted to go as small as possible.   I can snap a picture if you want one.
