so my Ipod battery seems to be running down. I am getting maybe half the life on my Ipod that I used to get. Anyone got a site for replacing the battery? how much does Apple charge to do it? thanks.
-
www.ipodbattery.com to get the battery and the instructions. 30 + shipping as opposed to the 100 i think it is for apple to do it.
-
cool thanks.

there was a site that was marketing a "double the normal capacity" battery for replacement...I have the link at home..I will post it tonight

what gen is the ipod? if 1st or second, get the newertech 2200maH battery from otherworldcomputing
it'll last like 15-20 hours
i replaced the battery on a 1st ge and 2nd gen with no problems. it's very straightforward

It looked way too fragile to operate on my gen 3 ipod.

your gen 3 ipod is much stronger than you think it is. that casing is pretty solid
