Anybody know if the E-MU 0404 soundcard works with an Intel Celeron with 1.8 GHz? The box says that an Intel Pentium III with 500 MHz is required to run the card properly but isn't a Celeron with 1.8 GHz comparable with a Pentium IV running at 1.5 GHz? Box also says that a genuine Intel board and chipset are required but I think a Celeron can provide this?
All help is appreciated
Thanks
Dirk

I think there should be no problem. The main point with Celeron is that you have less cache, but as you are running 3 times the minimun specs, that shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for your help man!
Other people I asked including the guys over at E-MU confirmed what you said so I think I'm ready to go now.
