Title: Okay I'm REALLY new at this, advice would be great!
Post by: BlueEyes17el on December 20, 2004, 11:25:34 PM
Okay so this summer, I bought a digital audio recorder.... I stupidly thought that I'd get really good recordings of the 3 shows I recorded.. DUH.

So after some research and talking to a friend of mine, I've decided I'd like to get into taping. I def. won't be hardcore like you guys since I'm a Nursing student in university and don't really know too much about computers and such. But I'm willling to invest in some good, basic equipment. I was thinking maybe a Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra might be good since it holds a lot of songs.

Be warned, the band I'll be recording doesn't allow taping so I'd have to sneak it in.

If there's anyone willing to help me out, maybe we could talk on AIM about this or just reply? I pretty much have no clue as to what to do/what to buy. Thanks guys!  ;D

I don't think the Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra records.
You'll probably want a Nomad Jukebox 3. You can find those on eBay.

Here's a link to a stealthing thread in the archive forum: http://www.taperssection.com/yabbse/index.php?board=14;action=display;threadid=15920

Hope that helps.
