Title: venue question: Showbox Seattle and GAMH SF
Post by: crackhead on January 06, 2005, 10:39:23 PM: Can anyone tell me about these 2 venues: the Showbox in Seattle, and Great American Music Hall in San Francisco? Patdowns, security, sweet spot, etc. Thanks.

Post by: imjustchillin on January 07, 2005, 12:13:07 AM: the showbox doesn't usually have a pat down at the door, but security inside can be tight. open taping is pretty limited to elevated areas to the back and to each side. low profile you can't lose in the middle of the floor.

I'm guessing you're asking because of the Ben Gibbard shows?

As long as the weather holds, I'll be taping at the Showbox.
