"Audio Advantage: Specifications

Audio Advantage is an inexpensive non Hi-Fi audio accessory. As such, Hi Fi
Audio Specifications such as Frequency Response, Signal To Noise Ratio,
Harmonic Distortion etc. are not available.

However, this said, Audio Advantage has superior Audio quality over any built
on the motherboard chipset, making it ideal for a notebook or desktop Upgrade."

I've got one...

here is my cheap-ass, but great sounding PC setup.

the TB audio advantage > toslink out > Edirol 10D monitors (with built in 24/96 DAC..just add digital signal)
sure, not the best...but damn, they image great and have a nice soundstage.  the TB USB dongle is really cool for $28

i'm pretty sure its not.
I can play 24bit files through it....but i'm very doubtful that i'm hearing 24bit.
shit, the stock sound card in my Toshiba 3480ct will play 24bit files, and its a 16bit card.  hardware realtime dither, i believe.
no matter.
its my mastering soundcard.  i only need it to hear where I need to place tracks.

guess ill stick with the indigo. id love to have something like this, but 24-bit. the indigo is kinda bulky and it only outputs analog, so i couldnt use it as a hook up to an external D/A if i ever wanted to hook my computer up to a real system...  :-\
